Is all this stuff about buckethead real?

It's all part of the Buckethead persona. His real name is Brian Carroll, and he was raised in a middle-class household in California. Most of Buckethead's personality stems from Brian Carroll's love of horror/science fiction films. As far as the obsession with chickens, I can only guess that he is an animal lover.
