My 4 day old chick wont stand?

short and simple...about 3 or 4 days ago one of our chicks hatched. After the first day it started walking. yesterday it was walking fine as i put some food into the coop with the mothers and chick and it walked and ate fine. Today i checked it and its refusing to stand and it closes its eyes. im fearing that its getting weak where mums wont take the chick out. what can i do? please help
